Feed Asheville: West, a Neighborhood Food Project is Patchwork Urban Farm’s (PUF) first food access program. With the help of volunteers, community groups, and local sponsors, produce will be grown exclusively for distribution to local non-profit organizations and community partners on a Rainbow Community School-owned “patch".
The goal is to expand this project beyond pounds of food distributed to include farming and food access education as well as community outreach and collaboration within the Asheville community. With the help of community sponsors like you, this project can gain the financial backing it needs to support our community and local food system!
Feed Asheville: West is a collaborative effort that supports four key community partners – Southside Community Garden, YMCA of WNC’s Healthy Living Mobile Market, Rainbow Community School, and 12 Baskets Cafe.
