Elder and Sage Community Garden

Since our opening on June 1, 2017, our core group of elder volunteers have been hard at work transforming this city-owned gravel lot into an oasis of life in our uptown Asheville neighborhood.  We plant, nurture and harvest organic vegetables, culinary herbs and flowering pollinator plants and share garden stories and skills with visitors from the neighborhood and around the world. 
Join our efforts and contribute in whatever way you are able. We welcome ideas, support, appreciation and cooperation. We especially welcome neighbors who will serve as on-site guardians, helping to keep our gates safely open for visitors.
