Isaac Dickson Elementary Garden
The Isaac Dickson Elementary Garden consists of raised beds, a "touch and feel" sensory garden, a greenhouse, a pollinator garden, and an apple orchard and a wood-fired cob oven. The garden is managed collaboratively between Scott Fisher, Isaac Dickson’s Experiential Education Specialist, and Liz Avery, FEAST Educator, who team teach cooking and garden lessons to all K-5 students at the school. The greenhouse at the school is equipped with heating and ventilation systems that allow us to not only grow seedlings for our garden and plant sale, but also grow veggies year round and harvest tomatoes well into winter!
