Ashley Hawk

Rosemary Thurber

Ashley Hawk recently joined Bountiful Cities as Administrative Coordinator, supporting internal operations and helping keep systems running smoothly. She has lived in the Asheville area her entire life and is excited to be part of Bountiful Cities because she believes food accessibility is a basic human right and values the organization’s commitment to equitable, community-centered food systems. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and children, Muay Thai, cooking and many other mental and physical pursuits.

Rosemary Thurber joined Bountiful Cities this winter as the Food Distribution Coordinator. Since making her way from Vermont to the Southern Appalachians in 2021, Rosemary has strived to contribute to climate resilience through her work at the intersections of environmental science, food sovereignty, and connection to place. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Warren Wilson College, where she spent three years as a leader at the college garden. She is also the Operations Manager at the Living Seed Company in Weaverville, growing and distributing organic, heirloom, and open-pollinated seeds. Rosemary finds delight in gleaning produce and has loved coordinating the No Cost Produce Share Markets as well as other food distribution efforts with Bountiful
