Bountiful Cities has had several spring plant sales to support our gardens and (with lots of community participation!) these sales raised much needed money for infrastructure and programming in the gardens! Over $2500 so far! The Bountiful Cities Windfall Collective Nursery is continuing to sell plants throughout the season. Opportunities to Grow on City Land The City of Asheville is requesting proposals to farmers willing to use organic methods to grow produce on 10 acres of land near the Soccer Complex at Azalea Road and Hardesty Lane. The land is split between two nearby sites near the City's Beneficial Landfill. The City strongly encourages submissions by farmers of color, women farmers, and local small businesses. Asheville on Bikes Film Festival Goes Virtual The 20th anniversary of Bicycle Film Festival is going virtual. BFF is arriving back in Asheville virtually June 4 - 14, 2021.
