Thanks so much to Katey Rudd (garden manager at the Haw Creek Commons Community Garden) for allowing us to host our CGN Celebration/Pollinators Workshop in their lovey co-working space last month. I would also like to send a warm welcome to Ricky Manning our presenter, and to everyone who attended our first workshop of 2019 and helped us kickoff the year with a great start!
January 2019I hope everyone has been having a wonderful 2019 so far!! We already have so much going on.
The City is now accepting applications for their Asheville Edibles program. As of 2018, Bountiful Cities has contracted with the City to manage this program. The program allows citizens to start edible gardens on parcels of City land located in various areas of town. There is no cost to lease the land. All you need are helping hands. More info/Applications available here. |
