Be a part of our  Growing Community Campaign! 

As we  welcome Spring we want to broaden our support for community gardens. 

Bountiful Cities Community Garden Network provides:
Tools
Seeds
Education
Support for Food Sovereignty

We are launching our Growing Community Campaign and our goal in the next 3 months is to raise $7,000 to broaden the support for community members and fully fund the Community Garden Network Assistant position for 2021. This will allow us to:

• Have immediate impact on the amount of food community gardens have the capacity to grow this year,
  
• Assess the needs of individual community gardens and help them to acquire resources and grant funds,
  
• Mobilize our volunteer base within the Community Garden Network,
  
• Host additional community work days in the 30 + gardens who are part of the network,
  
• Increase attendance at our free workshops,
  
• Set up multiple locations for our seed library.
  

 If you are able to contribute towards this phase of our community effort please donate here. If that’s not possible, you can assist by sharing this with friends and family, and anyone you know who is interested in long-term food security. 

Bountiful Cities centers equity in the work we do. For many years we have prioritized supporting communities  working to build their own systems of food production and distribution, moving toward food sovereignty and away from reliance on a system which marginalizes black and brown people. Growing Community will support local food sovereignty efforts to sprout, grow, and thrive.
